AfterEd TV is the online tv station for EdLab and Teachers College, Columbia University. With the goal to make a user-friendly site that was flexible enough to the diversity in programming, I created a set of wireframes for the site to be constructed. The key to understanding the problem was breaking down the information into two distinct category types: shows and themes. The blog like format of the current site was not conducive to finding or watching videos easily. The new direction displays multiple points of entry to the video and complementary information while allowing for areas for marketing and advertising. The new AfterEd TV will be launched in the winter of 2009.
