LiveSyllabus

2009

LiveSyllabus aims to solve the problem of students having easy online access to their syllabi and readings. Currently, the system at Teachers College requires a professor to request a librarian to make available a reading to his/her students. LiveSyllabus looks to automate the process, as well as provide an easy method for professors to create new readings, search for other professor's readings and receive recommended readings for their courses. It also allow users to receive electronic version of their readings, view a calendar of their assignments, tests and quizzes and easily contact professors and TAs through the system. I was responsible for creating the workflow and wireframing the app.
A working paper was presented at TCETC 2009 about the app and the prototype will be finished by the Fall of 2009.
